Join us for our Big Open Weekend on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th March 2026. 

Enjoy lots of super fun activities, free taster lessons, friendly advice, special offers and more! 

Come down and take a look around, try a range of activities and meet our fantastic team - they'll be on hand to answer all of your questions. 

Don't worry, you don't need to be a member of our leisure centre, or have visited us before to get involved over our Big Open Weekend. The best part, you can bring the family along, a friend, or just pop down on your own.

Swimming Lessons Taster Sessions

Try out our swimming lessons with a free taster session! Perfect for all ages and abilities – build confidence, learn new skills, and have fun in the water.

Complimentary Gym Tours

Saturday & Sunday - 9.30am - 5.00pm running every 30 minutes throughout the day.

Our friendly gym and fitness team will be on hand to help, show you around and provide free inductions where you get chance to get on some of the equipment and make yourself familiar with the centre.

Indoor Football Tennis Taster

Fancy something different? Try out Indoor Football Tennis with a session from 12.30pm to 1.30pm a great way to stay active and have a laugh

HIIT Fitness Class – 8am to 8.45am

Cafe

Our cafe will be open from on the weekend, perfect for fuelling up after fun activities! 

Cafe Opening times:

  • Saturday 8.30am - 5pm
  • Sunday 9am - 5pm

Head to the back of the cafe to enjoy our free bouncy castle across the weekend from 10am - 5pm too, what better way to burn some of that energy!

Support NI Children’s Hospice – In Memory of Lorraine Ringland

Join us for a day of fun, fitness, and community spirit in honor of Lorraine Ringland. Highlights include:

  • Spinathon – Pedal all day to raise funds.
  • North Down Small Sided Games – Teams across the borough will be collecting donations, with contributions going directly to the hospice.

Family Aqua Challenge Races – Splash into action from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with exciting family-friendly water races.
